Infosys -- ML Engineer

In the role of ML Engineer, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the AI/GenAI/Agentic AI product development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play the key role in building GenAI products for large enterprises. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, Data Scientists and Architects.

Locations for this position are Mexico (Mexico City) .

Qualifications Basic

• Bachelor's or master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related fields is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 8 years of experience in Information Technology and minimum 3 yrs. experience as a ML Engineer specialized in Text to voice OR video prompting technologies.

Mandatory Skillsets:

• 8+ years' experience in Project/product development using various front end and backend technologies.
• 3 + year experience in building Text to Speech/Speech to text OR Video Prompting Technologies.
• Experience in Python, Node JS, FastAPIs.
• Hands on experience in speech to text / text to speech models, implementation of voice separation (noise control for quality output) for GenAI products.
• Experience in Video Technologies, especially working with Microsoft real time prompting video capabilities.
• Strong hands on experience in Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, RAG Architecture, AI-first Software Engineering, Semantic Search.
• Strong working experience in Azure Open AI and Azure Cloud.
• Experience in Testing frameworks: Jest, Kevlar, Cucumber. Develops and tests program units, automation testing
• Knowledge on Microservices Architecture, cloud-based Infrastructure, modular architecture
• Understanding of Continuous Integration and DevOps.
• Experience with version control tools like GitHub and experience in using CI tools like Jenkins
• Experience with relational and no-relational database structures - SQL/NoSQL, Postgres /MySQL DB
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to have

• Development experience on React and/or Node JS.
• Experience with Agentic AI Frameworks.
• Knowledge on Microservices Architecture, Azure-based Infrastructure, modular architecture

Other Relevant Experience

• Proficient in English communication
• Experience in GenAI product development and deployment life cycle in Agile.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience in Retail /CPG Domain
