Maximo solution architect

Infosys Public Services is seeking a Maximo Solution Architect. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance in, Toronto, ON or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • Graduate in engineering Graduate. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification:
  • Provides solution architecture guidance and insights into Client technical landscape, standards, security, and performance. Liaison with other Client's systems and transformation programs as in scope for IBM Maximo integrations with Salesforce, ESRI GIS, SAP and Client's legacy system such as IT Central, RACS and RODAR
  • Articulates technical requirements and validates all system design & configurations based on divisional business needs
  • Articulates Functional requirements and validates Configuration based on Divisional business needs
  • Provides and verifies business requirements for the required solution by carrying out Impact/Fit gap analysis and submit feasibility report to Client and get the requirements signed off
  • Coordinates with other Client Maximo SME and other external System owners to get the mapping finalized to build the required integration
  • Provides details on the Division asset data and identifies the asset data requirement for the target System as well as identifies the asset attributes for integration with external
  • systems and deliver the Integration Design Document
  • Documents identified requirements and processes as per the Client's business process modelling methodology. Develops and maintains documentation and provides support as needed for the Project
  • Lead the Business Requirements workshop to finalize the Requirements
  • Lead the Design workshop to finalize the Solution Desing and get the Functional Design Document and As build document signed off from Customer
  • Will be involved in validating/testing and acceptance of the delivered solution from System Integrity perspective
  • Participate in UAT to support user for the successful completion of testing
  • Provide Knowledge Transfer to Client Technical and Sustain team on the implemented solution
  • Lead development and implementation and provide technical guidance to the Development team as and when required
  • Support Client team in evaluation of training plan for different roles/audiences and needs. Provides strategic advice, oversees and coordinates training
  • related to new system and associated business processes as required
  • Supports the Project Team as a subject matter expert on IBM Maximo product and Asset and work management implementations in the Client's technology ecosystem.
