Infosys is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer.
This position's primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the build and deployment of applications for large business systems; create deployment scripts, configure build tools, configure pipelines and support the CI/CD process. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience in Jenkins/Git/Bitbucket/Ansibile/XLR.
- Experience in Maven/Ant.
- At least 4 to 8 years of experience in DevOps.
- Experience in any one of Perforce/Nexus, Urban Code Platform (UBuild, UDeploy, URelease).
- Experience on version control tools like Perforce, Subversion, Microsoft Team foundation server (TFS) etc.
- Strong knowledge in continuous integration Tools & technology.
- Experience working on building and deployment tools such as Jenkins/Git/Bitbucket/Ansible/XLR.
- Basic knowledge on the Linux commands - viewing system processes, understanding of users/groups/permissions, viewing files and file transfer.
- Should have worked on build tools (Maven, ANT etc) and triage the build issues.
- Good working knowledge on Code Quality (JUnit, SONAR etc.).
- Experience on Code review tools (Crucible, Smarbear. etc.).
- Excellent communication skills to work with Global Teams.
- Experience in Banking and Finance domain.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
