Salary: AUD 117,385 - 134,148 (Annual Gross)

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design data solutions to meet business, technical and user requirements. This includes building modern data pipelines that meet functional/non-functional business requirements and provide end to end data solutions
- Participate in proofs-of-concepts. innovation, and effectively transition and scale those concepts into production at scale through, engineering, deployment and support
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
- Manage the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions that both anticipate and respond to the Department's needs; provide technical and data leadership to analysts and application developers to ensure quality systems and solutions
- Technical ownership for data and data pipelines to ensure compliance with data standards, architectural standards, and achievement of business requirements
- Build a strong understanding of data mappings and the best way to leverage it to achieve effective outcomes for a given project
- Very well acquainted with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Strong experience in development, Testing and Application Support
- Rich experience in Banking and Financial domain, proficient knowledge of APRA Regulatory reports.
- Support compliance with data, information and security management requirements of the Department
- Collaborating with management heads and with other stakeholders to ensure active support and resolution of risk related matters
- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
- 8+ years' experience and hands on in IBM InfoSphere DataStage ( 11.7 , 11.5 & 8.5)
- 8+ years' experience and hands on in Oracle, Oracle APEX
- 8+ years' experience and hands on in UNIX, Python
- 8+ years' experience and hands on in Control-M
- SME in Wealth Management and Data Warehouse.
3+ years of experience and hands on in the following
- Service Now
- GIT
- Google Cloud Platform
- BigQuery
- Apache Kafka
- Candidates in Sydney Location
- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
