KYC/Client Due Diligence

We are currently in search of a highly skilled KYC/Client Due Diligence (CDD) analyst to join our team dedicated to CDD onboarding and ongoing monitoring. Essential experience is a proven track record in a commercial banking context and/or a related onboarding setting, particularly in managing complex and high-risk client segments (such as NBFI's including supervised and regulated MSBs, APIs and EMIs etc.)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Financial Crime Operations including significant experience in KYC Due Diligence
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ensure the due diligence on prospective clients is accurate complete in line with the UK Bank's policies and procedures and UK regulatory expectations.
- Collaborate with our Transaction Monitoring team to review payment flows and identify risks
- Assess and analyze the financial crime risks posed by prospect clients including but not limited through review of client financial crime frameworks
- Support in the adaptation and implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Draft and complete First Line Assessment reports on prospect clients in a clear and concise manner which can be easily interpreted by senior stakeholders.
- Have a strong understanding of the UK's AML regulatory requirements and their practical application in relation to KYC/ CDD.
- Continually review processes with a view to identifying areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure there is alignment in client information requests.
- Willing to support and own additional processes, projects, and responsibilities within the Banks CDD team as required.
- Support in the production and analysis of MI to develop an effective monitoring and control framework
