Java Production Support

Infosys is seeking a Java Production Support. As a Production Support Specialist, they will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our systems by collaborating closely with infrastructure partners, development teams, and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting issues, managing incidents and problems, and following up for timely resolution.

Required Qualification:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or Dallas, TX or Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to these areas. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 3 years of experience in Production support .
• At least 2 years of experience in Java , J2EE technologies, Spring Boot and REST service
• Remedy Incident, Change and Problem Ticket System
• Experience in Monitoring tools. (Splunk,AppDynamics, Elastic Stack etc.
• Hands on experience with Windows UNIX System Administration
• Hands on experience with UNIX Shell PowerShell scripting
• Experience with source code management techniques/tools .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with source code management techniques/tools
• Experienced on Databases, Store Procedures (Oracle Preferable)
• Agile project experience utilizing Agile delivery framework
• Identify opportunities for monitoring and automation
• Develop tools, dashboard, Reports, alerts or process using various tools like Splunk, Introscope etc. to aid and improvise monitoring and day to day tasks to reduce resource overhead.
• UNIX shell & Power Shell scripting
• Ability to plan, design, create programs, and document through AGILE framework & DEVOPS using XLR/Ansible.
• Application Container Knowledge (.NET/IIS,EBPSHERE/TOMCAT/WEBSPHERE/MuleSoft/JBOSS)
• Managing changes, defects, and projects across various testing and PROD environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
