Java Principal Consultant

Infosys is looking for a Java Principal Consultant. Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
11+ years of experience in Java, ReactJS applications development.
Proven experience in architecting and delivering solutions for healthcare or insurance clients
Ability to work closely with healthcare providers, payers, and stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions that address critical health system needs.
10+ year experience in Microservices, Kafka, OAuth 2.0, RESTful APIs, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
10+ years of experience in Agile development, CI/CD pipelines, Unit Testing (JUnit) and (Git, Azure DevOps).
Strong experience with Azure cloud services and deployment pipelines.
Experience working in Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) or insurance platforms (e.g., Facets, HealthEdge, Guidewire).
Exposure to healthcare analytics, claims processing, member/provider portals, or virtual care platforms.
Certifications in Java, cloud technologies, or healthcare IT (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
Exposure to healthcare analytics, AI/ML, or population health platforms.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with onsite-offshore coordination.
Experience in leading & guiding technical teams.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
