Java Developer

Infosys is seeking a Java Developer . In the role of Java Developer , you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. This position is based out of Dallas, TX. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments
• Proficient in Java, Angular, Java Script
• Development Frameworks: Spring Boot (Required), Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring JMS, Spring Cloud, AOP, WS, Spring Web Services, Spring REST, Ext JS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Development tools/platforms: GitHub, Git Actions, Azure DevOps (ADO),, Kubernetes
• Proficient in Java (Required), preferably an Oracle Certified Professional.
• Responsive Design, Web Accessibility, Html5, CSS3
• Experience and Familiarity with DevOps concepts, Agile and SCRUM Project Methodology
• Test automation with Selenium and CA DevTest.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
