Java Backend with experience in Python

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java backend Developer with experience in Python. In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java and ReactJS. You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Irvine, CA or Los Angeles, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Java Springboot, Database, Shell Scripting
• Experience working in Python

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 4 to 6 years of experience in Java/Microservices Development.
• Experience in Java 8, REST, Springboot, microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments, Spring Security, JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, Junit, test framework, various design patterns is must.
• Experience in Database
• Experience in software development life cycle.
• Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Good Analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in the below locations will be:
Los Angeles, CA- $81905 to $108848
