Infosys is seeking Java Architect This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL OR be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

- Bachelor's degree foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of Information Technology experience
- Min 7+ years of overall experience in front-end technologies and responsive web design
- Min 6+ years' experience in leading Java implementations.
- Core Java: Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Spring Boot: Expertise in developing applications using Spring Boot framework.
- Spring WebFlux: Experience with reactive programming using Spring WebFlux.
- Microservice Architecture: In-depth knowledge of designing and implementing microservices.
- JUnit: Proficiency in writing and executing unit tests using JUnit.
- NoSQL Databases: Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
- Redis: Familiarity with Redis for caching and data storage.
- Streaming and Message Posting: Experience with event and streaming technologies like Confluent Kafka, Pub/Sub topics, etc.
- Headless CMS: Experience in developing applications using Headless CMS platforms.
- eCommerce Platforms: Knowledge of building scalable applications for eCommerce.
- Google Cloud Platform: Strong understanding of Google Cloud services and tools.
- Collaborative Environment: Proven ability to work effectively with Product Owners, designers, QA analysts, and architects.
- High-Quality Solutions: Commitment to delivering top-notch solutions and continuous improvement.
- Solution Design: Proficiency in creating UML diagrams, flow charts, C4 models, sequence diagrams, etc.
- Performance Engineering: Expertise in optimizing application performance and ensuring scalability.
- Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance solutions using the C4 model based on requirements from Product Owners.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, designers, QA analysts, and architects to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Architect Board Presentation: Present solution designs to the architect board for approval across the enterprise architect team.
- Documentation: Handover solutions to the development team with clear documentation and detailed specifications.
- Brainstorming and Reviews: Participate in solution brainstorming sessions, solution reviews, and proof of concepts (POCs).
- Code Quality: Ensure the codebase is well-structured, maintainable, and adheres to industry standards.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance and scalability, addressing any bottlenecks or issues.
- Testing: Implement and maintain unit tests using JUnit to ensure code reliability and quality.
- Cloud Integration: Utilize Google Cloud Platform services to enhance application functionality and performance.
- Database Management: Manage and optimize NoSQL databases and Redis for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously improve the development process.
