Java Architect

Infosys is seeking a Java Architect
The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Java technologies, cloud computing platforms, and modern architectural principles. With a strong focus on the technical aspects of solution design and implementation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology landscape. Proficiency in data architecture, legacy modernization, and hands-on experience with containerization and messaging systems is essential. Excellent communication skills and a self-driven attitude are required to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Phoenix, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Experience in technology architecture, system design, and enterprise application development.
• Experience in Java SE and Java EE.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience as implementing solutions on cloud platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, leveraging cloud-native services.
• At least 7 years of experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture to build robust and efficient applications.
• Experience in lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable enterprise applications using Java and related technologies.
• Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Experience in implementing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for application deployment and scaling.
• Experience in integrating and optimize messaging systems such as IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, and solace within the application architecture.
• Experience in designing and managing databases, including oracle and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
• Experience in applying architectural principles, design patterns, and sloid principles to develop maintainable and scalable software solutions.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with architectural standards and best practices.
• Experience in emerging technologies and assess their applicability to our technical landscape.
• Explore and implement AI and ML technologies to enhance application capabilities and drive innovation.
• Experience in modernizing legacy systems and integrating modern technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on technical challenges.
• Excellent technical communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to development teams and technical stakeholders.
• Highly motivated with a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
