Infosys is seeking a Junior Application Support Admin. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Infrastructure Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.

Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
• Bachelor's degree (Engineering/Non-Engineering) or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 3 years of IT experience required along with Non-Engineering Degree
• Provide technical support on security architecture, improvement, management, and remediation

• Support provided as the entry point for incidents, inquiries, or issue reports from authorized users
• Resolve requests and issues for which full documentation and knowledge transfer have been recorded
• Escalate to Level 2 if issue cannot be resolved by L1
• Acknowledge and prioritize requests, escalate requests as needed
• Troubleshoot based on SOP, checking log files, database entries, coordinating with L2 support teams

Preferred Qualifications:
• Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
• Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Skilled technical and consultative resources expected to be strong in both technical and soft skills.
• Proven self-starter with the ability to problem-solve, communicate, participate in diverse project teams from a technical perspective, and interface effectively with customers, vendor partners, and colleagues

The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
