Short Description: Informatica MDM Consultant
Salary Range: 90243- 98861 AUD Total Gross
Location: Melbourne, Australia

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and support end-to-end Informatica MDM projects.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and design MDM solutions.
• Configure and customize Informatica MDM platform including data models, match/merge rules, survivorship, workflows, and integrations.
• Configure and maintain IDQ application for MDM integration and Data quality rules
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Informatica MDM configurations and performance.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand and resolve data-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Support data onboarding, cleansing, and enrichment processes.
• Participate in change management and release cycles

Skill / Competencies / Experience:

ESSENTIAL

• 3+ years of experience in Informatica MDM (Hub, IDD, SIF APIs,C360).
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data domains (e.g., customer, product, supplier).
• Strong understanding of MDM concepts including data modeling, entity resolution, hierarchy management, and data governance
• Hands on Experience on Informatica Data Quality,ETl
• Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and data profiling tools.
• Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., REST APIs, Informatica PowerCenter).
• Knowledge of incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in 24x7 support environments (if required).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Informatica MDM SaaS on IDMC platform.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Basic understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Good expertise in impact analysis due to changes or issues
• Analyze & Validate data to suggest & maintain data quality Rules
• Knowledge of large data sets and experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Hands-on development, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
