Incident Technician

Infosys is seeking an Incident Technician with hands on experience in Software installation, Troubleshoot, repair and maintain software applications & infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York City, NY or be willing to relocate to these areas.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 1 year of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 1 year experience in Software installation, Troubleshoot, repair and maintain software applications & infrastructure.
- Escalation from helpdesk for application support including in-house, 3rd party applications and market data applications.
- Provide support for operating system drivers, software and firmware.
- Provide support to users for home connection and work from home set up - firm laptop or personal laptop + virtual machine.
- Undertake post incident reviews, with the focus on identifying process or operational improvements
- Technical grasp of a wide range of applications both in house and 3rd party applications.
- Mobile Device Management.
- Create and maintain support documentation.
- Record and manage all Incidents and requests in ticket-tracking system.
- Experience in IT Support experience with a Financial Services.
