Position: Infrastructure Architect
Job Description:
The Infrastructure Architect will be in charge of the production of documents with infrastructure designs (Networks, servers, backup, etc.), which must consider the design policies, strategies, architectures and documentation defined by the client's standards and that will cover LAN, WAN, wireless communications, security and infrastructure services associated with communications, design of servers and infrastructure services capable of supporting the requirements of applications among others. It considers within the scope data networks and server platforms associated with technology environments (IT Environment) and networks and servers of mining production environments (OT Environment). The Architect will be responsible for preparing the design documentation established by the client's methodology and participating in the design approval instances established in the client's work framework. Additionally, it may integrate a multidisciplinary team that must provide solutions to the design needs of the projects agreed with the client. Within your solutions, you will need to consider connectivity, capacity, interconnection, security, resiliency, recovery, access, and remote access requirements. The works will correspond to designs to be implemented within the client's infrastructure environment such as the incorporation of new technologies that support their business processes.
Its main functions will correspond to:
- Collect and document infrastructure requirements (networks, servers, facilities)
- Develop high-level design documents
- Produce Documents with Detail Engineering
- Develop implementation plans
- Develop the configurations needed to deploy infrastructure needs in either shared environments or new installations
- Support customer-defined infrastructure deployment processes
- Support with expert knowledge in the projects agreed with the client
- Establish definitions, principles and good practices in the activities that are requested by the client
- Information technology professional with at least a bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience of at least 10 years in infrastructure solution design roles or similar projects
- Written and spoken knowledge of English (Desirable)
- Certifications CISCO, RedHat, VmWare, Backup Technologies (Desirable)
- Desirable Safety Certifications
- Proven experience working in service areas, mining environments or in industrial production environments
