Infosys is seeking GIS Consultants candidate with a strong utility and GIS domain background in playing a techno-functional lead role in implementing GIS solutions for Electric Utilities in Esri technology platform that includes ArcGIS Enterprise, WebApp Builder for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Experience Builder, Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Monitor, Collector for ArcGIS, Survey123 and Field Maps. You should have experience in implementing GIS solutions in North American Utility markets and have experience in implementing GIS. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Rosemead, California or Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and or travel to project locations.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 Years of experience in Information Technology.
• 10 years in implementing GIS Solutions for Utilities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to implement, deploy, and support geostatistical analysis, geoprocessing, and geocoding tools.
• Strong Experience in Implementing GIS solutions on ArcGIS Enterprise Platform that would include Portal for ArcGIS, Experience Builder, WebApp Builder and Esri mobile technologies like FieldMaps and Survey123.
• Exposure to US (Regulated and De-Regulated) Markets
• Experience of leading development team, working with client teams/SMEs and leading them through the project life cycle.
• Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability

Preferred skills and experiences

• Experience in GIS industry experience and ESRI technologies.
• Experience of at least 4+ full-cycle implementation for a utility (Power) with hands on Functional and deployment experience in GIS.
• GIS Web based application development (including Apps & custom widgets), testing and migration of related IT systems.
• Knowledge of integration patterns with other systems (including Service-oriented architecture patterns) with GIS (e.g., SAP).
• Should be able to do AS IS, TO BE models, do the CRPs, able to do the product fitment.
• Support cross-functional IT projects that rely heavily on GIS technology.
• Spatial data management, Experience in handling disparate datasets from dozens of systems and tie them spatially.
• Experience in leading development teams, working with client teams/SMEs, and guiding them through the project lifecycle.
• In-depth understanding of Esri Utility Data Models aligned to North American standards.
• Experience working on teams following Agile\ SAFe software development methodologies.
• Proof of concept (POC) development to validate proposed solution and reduce technical risk.
• Good knowledge of Electric Utilities Domain and Industry.
• Strong soft skills required
• Ready to travel to client locations as needed
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise on Cloud
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
