Infosys is seeking a GIS Leader with a strong utility and GIS domain background in playing a techno-functional lead role in implementing GIS solutions for Electric Utilities in multi-technology platform with focus on Esri platform. You should have experience in implementing GIS solutions in North American Utility markets. Experience in implementing GIS systems and experience of playing the GIS Techno-Functional lead role . As a GIS Leader, you should be able to collaborate with cross functional teams that integrate with GIS. You should also constantly engage with the Sales team for new opportunities and growth in the existing GIS portfolio. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Rosemead, California or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and or travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 13 Years of experience in Information Technology/GIS
• Able to lead the design, build, test and deploy solution on Esri platforms
• Strong working experience with ArcGIS Suite of solutions and exposure to other GIS platforms like GE Smallworld and AutoCAD Map3D (will be preferred)
• Should be able to lead Technical Designs and Functional workshops with the customer
• Agile \ SAFe Methodologies
• Should be able to guide, mentor and review the end to end solution
• Maintain and nurture relationships with OEM (Esri), act as a bridge between OEM (Esri) and the client.
• Ability to drive practice growth: Capacity and capability
• Knowledge of integration patterns with different other systems with GIS (e.g. SAP) is required.
• Participate in customer demos.

Preferred Qualification:

• At least 20 years of experience in GIS
• Experience of at least 7-8+ full-cycle implementation for a utility (Power) and other Domains pertaining to GIS.
• Prior knowledge of Esri Capacity planning tool will be an advantage.
• Implementation knowledge of Esri technologies including ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal for ArcGIS, Widgets (and Custom Widgets)
• Should have strong knowledge of Esri Utility Data Models that are aligned to the North American standards.
• Knowledge of integration patterns with different other systems (including Service oriented architecture patterns) with GIS (e.g. SAP) is required.
• Familiarity with process integration of GIS with other utility enterprise and operational systems.
• Familiarity with GIS Product Architecture of Esri and other Utility GIS platforms.
• Knowledge of GIS integration with ADMS and other Power Systems.
• Exposure to US (Regulated and De-Regulated) Markets
• Experience of guiding the account team, working with client teams/SMEs for existing and upcoming opportunities in GIS space.
• Good interpersonal communication and analytical ability
• Strong soft skills required
• Ready to travel to client locations as needed
• Domain Experience; Oil and Gas, retail etc.
• Knowledge of ADMS and Asset Management
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms for GIS Deployments
• ArcGIS Enterprise on Cloud (Azure / AWS)
• Oracle Spatial
• Windows Server, AD
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
