Gen AI Lead Consultant

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled SAS Platform Engineer to lead the deployment, operations, and support of SAS platforms including SAS Grid and SAS Marketing Automation. This role is critical in supporting Data Scientists, Modelers, and Analysts by ensuring platform stability, security, and alignment with strategic initiatives. The engineer will act as a liaison between infrastructure teams, risk partners, and business stakeholders to deliver compliant and scalable technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be able to complete key responsibilities such as: Deploy, configure, and maintain SAS platforms (SAS Grid, SAS Marketing Automation;) Maintain compliance with IT policies, standards, and service level agreements; Document platform architecture, processes, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Candidate must live within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate. This position may require travel in the US.
• At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology

• Strong expertise in Unix/Linux shell scripting and software deployment.
• Hands-on experience with SAS platform administration and support.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence principles.
• Experience in designing and architecting web-based applications and server technologies.
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of storage technologies (EMC, NetApp, Hadoop, S3).
• Understanding of network components (DNS, F5, Load Balancers).
• Experience with security protocols and systems (Active Directory, LDAP, SAML).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAS Viya or cloud-based SAS deployments.
• Exposure to enterprise IT environments and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SAS certifications are a plus

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
