Infosys is looking for a GE Smallworld Developer and Support Analyst - In this role candidate should be playing as a technology lead for implementing GIS solutions for Electric/Gas Utilities specific to GE Smallworld platform. The Candidate need to have experience in implementing GIS solutions preferably in Utilities markets. Candidates having strong experience in Magik Code programming. Candidate will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. This position is based out of Chicago, IL, Baltimore, MA, Philadelphia, PA. Candidate can work from anywhere in USA and or Remote during EST time zone. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in GE Smallworld Development and Maintenance.
• GE Smallworld EO GDO Development Experience in Magik Code Programming and is Hands on.
• Interface/Integration Expertise
• Safe FME Expertise including SBS FME Plugin.
• Expertise working in Agile Environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience of at least 1 or 2 full-cycle implementation for a utility (Electric/Gas) with hands on design, development and deployment experience in GIS.
• Experience with process integration of GIS with other utility enterprise and operational systems
• Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability
• Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment
• Should be familiar with the latest technology trends in the GIS Industry.
• Should participate in requirement discussions with the client for the GIS program.
• Should be able to resolve issues related to the development or support of GIS applications
• Should be able to design the forms, workflows and portlets, integration with the required systems. Mobile platform development is an added advantage.
• Should be able to perform issue resolutions during support /Post-Go Live phase.
• Should be able to assist the Testing team with the functional areas to be tested.
• The candidate must be a team player and is also expected to help the project team with any functional issues that may arise during the course of the project.

"Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA / WA / NY / CO: $73,000to $102,200
In Washington, DC: $66,500 to $100,300

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
