This resource will play a key role in bringing our new EDM solution into the enterprise, acting as both strategist and firsthand integrator. As a business consultant, the candidate must possess deep domain knowledge across reference data, market data, product/fund/legal entity data, and trade data. They should have "been there and done that"-with practical experience integrating this platform into enterprise applications and overcoming real-world implementation challenges

As a Principal, you will lead and manage delivery of engagements, being responsible for quality, budget and staffing, collaborating closely with senior client managers. You will contribute to the firm's development by guiding and mentoring teams and sharing knowledge. You will be recognized as an expert in your respective domain and contribute to advancing Infosys Consulting's thought leadership in the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the S&P Global EDM suite, including Data Inspector, Constructor, Rule Builder, Data Matcher, and Web UI workflows, to establish a consolidated, golden‑copy data hub
  • Function as strategic advisor and firsthand resource to integrate EDM with downstream systems and upstream data feeds (including vendor systems, internal trading/portfolio/CRM platforms, and reporting solutions).
  • Architect and configure comprehensive data ingestion, validation, transformation, enrichment, and reconciliation workflows catering to:
    • Reference data (securities, parties, pricing, rates/curves, legal entities, corporate actions)
    • Market data (pricing, curves, vendor feeds)
    • Product and fund data (metadata, hierarchy, product lifecycles)
    • Trade and position data (IBOR, trade hub reconciliation)
  • Design and guide implementation of integration layers-ETL, message hubs (batch/real‑time)-to orchestrate data flows between EDM and key business systems (e.g., OMS, MDM, risk engines, data lakes).
  • Define and enforce data governance, stewardship, and lineage practices to ensure traceability, auditability, and compliance
  • Build and manage master‑data workflows using components like Rule Builder, Data Matcher, Workflow Builder, matching patterns, exception resolution, and deployment governance
  • Drive performance tuning, system testing (unit → integration → UAT → parallel), and deployment to production environments ensuring operational readiness
  • Mentor junior EDM consultants and contribute to implementation best practices, continuous improvement, and product roadmap feedback.
Practice Development
  • Provide insights on new and emerging best practices across Capital Markets industry and contribute to the development of service offerings
  • Work with other practice members to support Infosys Consulting thought leadership activities and develop innovative assets, including differentiated points of view and methodologies
  • Build social networks that enable knowledge and information flow and stay abreast of developments in wealth management and financial advisory expertise areas
  • Prepare thought papers and participate in industry conferences and forums
  • Contribute to practice growth and vitality through roles such as recruitment, training and retention
People Management
  • Coach and develop junior team members to deliver quality results and promote professional development
  • Participate in and contribute to practice training activities
Business Development
  • Lead small, medium sized sales pursuits and business development activities ranging from creation of client proposals to formulating commercial constructs / contracts
  • Develop and build relationships at senior management and CXO levels
  • Formulate and present Infosys Consulting propositions and service offerings
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with at least 3-5 years of management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm
  • Demonstrated ability in defining, mobilizing and delivering complex change programs in Capital markets industry (Investment Bank, Broker-Dealer, Wealth Management, Asset Management)
  • 3-5+ years of proven experience implementing or supporting S&P Global EDM suite within a financial institution or enterprise setting
  • Deep understanding of EDM components: Data Inspector, Constructor, Rule Builder, Data Matcher, Workflow/Web UI modules
  • Robust domain knowledge across:
      • Reference data (securities, parties, pricing, etc.)
      • Market data and product/fund/master data workflows
      • Trade/position integration
  • Experience in integrating EDM with enterprise applications, including relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle), data warehouses, OMS/EMS, risk, and portfolio systems.
  • Strong technical skills: SQL, ETL/data modeling, stored procedures, data ingestion, messaging systems.
  • Excellent communication skills: capable of consulting with business stakeholders and translating business requirements into robust Technical specifications.
  • Experience across full project lifecycle: requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, go‑live, training, and support.
  • Familiarity with EDM data governance, lineage, and audit processes; regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel, MiFID, Dodd-Frank) a plus.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 80%, depending on client requirements

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in working on advisory business, technology or operational change initiatives in the capital markets industry, working either directly with a financial services firm or with a reputed professional services firm
  • Good depth of knowledge and implementation experience in front-to-back office processes across product areas and leading products in this space
  • Experience with one or more products like S&P Global Markit, FactSet B-One (BISAM), Charles River (CRD OEMS, Compliance), Calypso, Eagle STAR-PACE, Advent APX, Blackrock Aladdin, Broadridge product suite (BPS, Gloss, Impact), Salesforce CRM related experience in Capital Market, 3 rd party Trading Platform implementation
  • Prior background in EDM Managed Services or Data‑as‑a‑Service implementations
  • Experience leveraging the EDM Warehouse component and prebuilt enterprise data model
  • Exposure to vendor integrations using S&P Global metadata/data dictionary and external data vendors (e.g., reference/pricing/ESG feeds).
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting environments , SOC‑2 compliance frameworks.
  • Previous consulting and pre-sales experience: leading demos, POCs, RFP engagements, solutioning.
  • Leadership in developing EDM implementation best practices, training materials, and contributing to product evolution.
  • Experience of leading programs where stakeholder engagement is a key requisite to achieving successful program/project delivery
  • Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and challenging constraints
  • Ability to collaborate within the firm and leverage existing resources
  • Demonstrate thought leadership, ability to conceptualize and drive new solution / service offerings and take them to market
