Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution Consultant

Infosys is seeking Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution Consultant. In the role, you will participate in workshops to understand both functional and non-functional business requirement and business criticality of desired systems, perform AS-IS and TO-BE business process gap analysis and provide impact analysis, create relevant documentation such as software requirement document, interface requirement document, prepare technical design documents, develop and implement technical solutions. You will provide support for testing and production issues, participate in project discussions, coordinate with clients, project team and other client IT teams on project related activities, anticipate customer needs and provide inputs for solution.

This position is based out of Rosemead, California. The candidate must be located within commuting distance of Rosemead, California or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
• Experience in requirement elicitation and implementing solutions in Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution Work & Asset Management functions.
• End to End working experience in implementing Electric Utility Transmission and DistributionWork & Asset Management products (Ex. - SAP EAM/Oracle WAM/IFS) or custom solutions.
• At least 6 years of experience in playing above-mentioned roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in MS office tools (Word, Power Point, Excel)
• Experience in at least one programming language (Ex: Microsoft .Net, Java)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Preferred experience of collaborating with diverse teams spread across multiple geographies and time zones.
• Working knowledge of Software development methodologies like waterfall, Agile
• Certification in Electric Utility Transmission & Distributions /relevant products
