Infosys Public Services is seeking a Director of Public Sector Strategy and Growth to join our team.

We seek a strategic and results-driven leader to serve as the Director of Public Sector Strategy and Growth. This role is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies that drive innovation, digital transformation, and mission impact across federal, state, and local government sectors. The ideal candidate will bring deep public sector expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience with enterprise systems and digital modernization initiatives.

  • Design and lead public sector growth strategies aligned with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Conduct market and policy analysis to identify emerging opportunities and competitive positioning.
  • Develop business cases, strategic roadmaps, operating models, and investment plans for executive leadership.
Strategy Execution
  • Oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with client missions and internal capabilities.
  • Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with delivery, sales, and operations to ensure successful execution.
  • Track performance metrics, manage risks, and adjust strategies based on evolving priorities.
Public Sector Expertise
  • Maintain deep knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), procurement vehicles (e.g., GSA Schedules, GWACs), and agency-specific contracting processes.
  • Provide advisory support on regulatory compliance, digital policy, and modernization mandates (e.g., FITARA, MGT Act, TMF).
  • Translate public sector challenges into actionable technology and service solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build trusted relationships with senior government officials, industry partners, and policy influencers.
  • Represent the organization at public sector events, industry forums, and strategic engagements.
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders to drive mission outcomes.
Required Technical and System Experience:
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT systems used in government (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Understanding cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, Zero Trust Architecture).
  • Knowledge of data interoperability, analytics platforms, and digital service delivery tools.
  • Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, and human-centered design methodologies in government settings.
Qualifications:
  • 16+ years of experience in public sector consulting, strategy, or government leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of leading digital transformation and growth initiatives in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of government operations, procurement, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred.
The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
