Job Title: DevOps Support Engineer
A skilled and proactive DevOps Support Engineer who will focuses on maintaining and optimizing AWS environments, supporting CI/CD pipelines using Harness and TeamCity, and driving cost-efficiency across cloud operations. He will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance while contributing to strategic DevOps initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operational Activities:

  • Monitor and maintain AWS infrastructure for availability, performance, and security.
  • Manage and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Harness and TeamCity.
  • Perform routine system health checks, patching, and updates.
  • Maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Manage IAM roles, policies, and enforce security best practices.
  • Provide on-call support and incident response for production systems.
Application Performance & Stability:
  • Use Dynatrace to configure and monitor application performance, detect anomalies, and ensure system stability.
  • Analyze APM metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize application behavior.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve performance issues and improve user experience.
  • Set up proactive alerting and dashboards for real-time visibility into system health.
  • Conduct performance testing and capacity planning.
Cost Optimization & Efficiency:
  • Analyze AWS usage and billing to identify and implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Automate resource scaling and lifecycle management for non-production environments.
  • Implement tagging strategies and cost allocation reports.
  • Use AWS Trusted Advisor and Cost Explorer for continuous optimization.
Value-Added DevOps Activities:
  • Develop and maintain observability dashboards for performance, cost, and deployment metrics.
  • Drive DevOps best practices across teams through training and documentation.
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools to enhance automation and reliability.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and suggest improvements for scalability and resilience.
  • Implement automated testing and quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Harness and TeamCity.
  • Experience with Dynatrace or similar APM tools (e.g., DataDog).
  • Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, Quantum Metrics).
  • Experience with GitOps and configuration management tools (Ansible, Github).
