DevOps with AWS
Infosys is seeking DevOps with AWS with Python experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS and a strong understanding of DevOps practices. Proficiency in Python is essential, and experience with Power BI will be considered an asset. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring system reliability and scalability.
Locations for this position are Mexico (Mexico City, GDL and MTY).
Qualifications Basic
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in Information Technology.

Mandatory Skillsets:
• At least 6 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Extensive experience with AWS and proficiency in AWS services and architecture.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in Python programming and shell scripting.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure:
Design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Glue Jobs, DMS and CloudFormation.
Implement best practices for security, performance, and cost management in the cloud environment.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Automation and Tooling:
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python for provisioning and managing AWS resources.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to automate application deployment processes.
