Deltek Cobra Lead

Infosys is seeking an experienced Deltek Cobra Consultant to support earned value management (EVM) systems and processes. As part of a strategic engagement, this role involves maintaining and enhancing Cobra configurations, supporting project controls, and ensuring compliance with government contracting standards. You will be part of a collaborative team that values precision, compliance, and operational excellence in a high-regulation environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX/ Raleigh, NC/ Indianapolis, IN/ Hartford, CT/Tempe, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area.
- At least 4 years of Relevant Information Technology experience. Experience with Deltek Cobra in a government contracting or aerospace environment.

- Strong understanding of earned value management principles and reporting standards. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools

- Experience integrating Cobra with scheduling, ERP systems & ANSI/EIA-748 EVMS guidelines & ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms
- Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of Deltek Cobra application
- Assist project teams with cost and schedule integration, baseline management, and performance reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cost models, data imports, and reporting
- Collaborate with finance, program controls, and PMO teams to ensure accurate EVM reporting
- Support integration of Cobra with scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and ERP systems (e.g., Costpoint)
- Ensure compliance with EVMS guidelines, FAR, DFARS, and other government regulations
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and reporting templates. Aerospace or defense industry experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
