Database Admin - DB2

Infosys is seeking a DB2 Database Administrator. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across database technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Malta, NY and be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- At least 4 years in DB2 Database Administrator roles.
- Experience in installation, configuration, patching, upgradation, migration & administration of DB2 LUW 11.1 or higher.
- Hands-on experience in HADR, DPF, Table Partitioning, Data Studio
- Knowledge of Scripting Languages like shell or Perl for standardization and automation.
- Experience in Project life cycle activities on support and maintenance projects.
- Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.

- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Experience of managing clustered environments or works closely with system administrators is good to have
- Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
