Data Privacy Consultant & Developer

Infosys is seeking Sr. Data Privacy Consultants / Sr. Developer with deep expertise in Java-based technologies, privacy automation tools, and regulatory compliance frameworks. In this role, you will design and develop secure, scalable privacy solutions for our client, focusing on Data Subject Rights (DSR) fulfillment, data minimization, and privacy governance. You will work in a global delivery model, collaborate with legal and compliance teams, and contribute to privacy-specific best practices and standards. You will provide inputs for privacy architecture, automate workflows, and support enterprise-wide privacy operations. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate. This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in Java-based development and privacy-focused software engineering.
  • Experience in privacy automation tools such as OneTrust, Securiti.ai, and Collibra.
  • Proven experience in Telecom domain and Data Privacy projects.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and privacy regulations.
  • Experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD practices, and containerization using Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud services, including Lambda, S3, AKS, and CloudWatch.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with OpenAPI 3.x, Swagger, and Karate/Cucumber for API documentation and testing.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel will be required as per the job requirements.
