Infosys is seeking a Data Governance Senior Consultant In this role, you will work directly with the clients to facilitate and lead the data governance program which will include metadata management, data catalog, data quality, process/workflow definition implementation across different verticals. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to the area
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
  • Experience with SQL, data warehousing and ETL concepts to develop and maintain automated APIs and ETL pipelines that support DG tools
  • Experience in tactical implementation of data governance (DG), metadata management (MM) and data quality (DQ)
  • Experience on one of the following DG tool Alation, Informatica, Collibra, Purview , Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Data Quality

  • Certifications in any DG tool like Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Purview etc.
  • Experience with any Data Governance tools - Collibra, Informatica EDC/AXON/IDQ, Alation
  • Good understanding of data integration, data quality and data architecture
  • Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting
  • Experience in conducting unit testing, integration testing and UAT as and when required
  • Basic Understanding of programming languages like Python and Java
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
