Position: Data Engineer (Big Data, AWS)
Location: Krakow, Wroclaw, Warsaw
Type of work: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in office)- obligatory
Contract: only contract of employment
Salaries: base+ financial bonus

We are looking for a Data Engineer based out of Poland with prior experience in setting up Big Data, ML and Deployment Pipelines on AWS.
Skills and Responsibilities:
- Build/manage robust, efficient, and scalable Java applications using core Java concepts and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate, ensuring adherence to best coding practices.
- Develop comprehensive test cases using Java testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.
- Develop, test, and optimize Apache Spark applications using Java/Scala, leveraging knowledge of Spark Streaming, Spark SQL, and performance tuning in Spark.
- Implement and manage Hadoop-based solutions, utilizing knowledge of Hadoop architecture and components, and optimize the utilization of different file formats within the Hadoop ecosystem.
- Design, implement, and manage MySQL and Cassandra, including data model design, cluster setup, and performance tuning to ensure optimal database performance.
