Your role
As a Senior Consultant in Controls OT/IoT you like to be responsible to manage control system related projects. You will be intensely involved in product upgrades and control system logic modification. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You consider customer and market requirements and implement suggested improvements. Ensure project progress in regards of efficient integration of new products and technologies. Support introduction of new technology and know-how transfer into Controls OT / IoT organisation. Participate in reviews for your scope of responsibility and work off identified gaps. Execute validation test during development and execution projects.
Required
- 4+ years of experience in the area of control systems, HMI/SCADA engineering
- Process Control and/or automation of thermal plants or turbomachines in power plants
- Good knowledge of Control engineering tools, fieldbus systems, industrial network, control architectures
- Knowledge in control system programming, troubleshooting and commissioning
- Good technical knowledge in the areas of common used control system technologies e.g. ABB Advant, AC800/800xA, ALSPA, Siemens PCS7, GE MARK VIe or equivalent
- Familiar with industrial Safety principles and cyber security
- Software development skills (e.g in C++/C#, SQL, Java, Python)
