Content Translator with Finnish

A world leading electronics retailer in the Nordic region, has trusted Infosys to handle the translation of it's product information, marketing materials and other texts from English to Danish. To be successful in this journey, we are looking for a dedicated Finnishspeaking Content Translator, to join our team in Brno.
In our team, you will enhance your English, Finnish and marketing language skills, while staying updated on technical innovations. You will learn about online marketing, the retail process, and cross-cultural communication in a diverse team.

• You will creatively translate existing product descriptions and specifications from English to Finnish to make sure that our customers know what type of product is right for them.
• You will create and update product descriptions for a specific product category (e.g. phones, games, movies) in Finnish language and publish products on our sites.
• You will be doing a quality check on product content created by the suppliers in our systems.
• You will be in close contact with your translator colleagues, but also with our copywriting team
• You will fulfil your potential in new projects.
• You will have flexible working hours with required availability from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. The remaining work hours can be adjusted to suit your needs.

• Native Finnish language - good formulation skills, perfect grammar
• Good level of English
• Knowledge or interest in electronics is a plus
• Marketing approach and ability to write texts that inspire customers to make a purchase
• Structured, efficient and independent
• Prior knowledge of marketing or copywriting is not required but a significant advantage
• Previous experience with customer electronics business or e-commerce (stores, online stores) is an advantage, but not a must"
