Cisco Webex Developer

Resources shall have the Cisco Webex product domain knowledge understand the various functionalities involved with Client development. The resources shall be part of the Webex Desktop Client Development team and Mobile team develops the desktop, mobile and Web clients for the Webex product. The team develops the desktop interface for Contact Center.

The candidate should have hands-on experience on below:

• Jenkins
• Python
• Grafana
• Pinot
• Playwright
• ReactLit
• TypeScript and JavaScript
• WebComponents
• Accessibility
• Test automation

Role and responsibilities:

• There are three main areas of the software development process that will be the responsibility of the potential team member.
• 1- Software development of desktop client
• 2- Engineering excellence/DevOps/Build/ tasks
• 3- Automated Test Development.

The resources will work on the development of this software product, software modules and module components/elements that will, in most cases, integrate with other

Cisco software modules. The software will be developed according to specifications
provided by Cisco. The resource is expected to work on the software specifications including a high-level design, functional description and technology choices. All software will be thoroughly tested according to Cisco's Product Test and Quality requirements. The resource is also expected to work on various tasks to improve processes, metrics and data to reflect the true state of quality as experienced by customers. Resources will work on DevOps and automation tasks and build enhancements to improve overall product quality and KPIs. The resource will develop automated testing scripts and components according to specifications provided by Cisco.
