Category Manager - MBS Sourcing
Location: Lodz
Responsible for all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of Commodities and Services in indirect materials.
- Accountable for developing and executing sourcing strategies in close collaboration with Indirect Category Portfolio Leads and senior stakeholders across functions such as Marketing, IT & Telecom, Workplace, HR Services and Workforce.
- Driving sourcing and cost optimization initiatives based on insights gained from spend analysis.
- Leading end-to-end project management across sourcing initiatives.
- Conducting supplier negotiations covering contracts, pricing, payment terms, and catalogs, ensuring full compliance with internal policies.
- Executing sourcing processes including RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs.
- Performing spend analysis to identify and prioritize sourcing opportunities.
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Managing supplier selection and delivering cost savings through structured procurement methodologies for services projects.
- Preparing, analyzing, negotiating, and administering procurement documents such as RFIs, RFPs, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Change Requests (CRs).
- Preparing and reporting cost-saving calculations to support procurement and sourcing initiatives.
- Lead governance with client stakeholders and internal team
- Identify opportunities for transformation and bring in value delivery

- Practical expertise in sourcing techniques, including spend analytics, strategic sourcing methodologies, cost-saving levers, contracting, and catalog management.
- Strong communication and customer service orientation, ensuring effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficient in project management, driving initiatives from planning through execution.
- Advanced analytical capabilities, with a focus on interpreting cost data to uncover opportunities for optimization.
- Skilled in task prioritization and organization, ensuring timely completion aligned with client needs and efficient tracking of deliverables.
- Robust commercial and contract negotiation skills, securing favorable terms and value for the business.
- Experience with sourcing platforms such as Coupa (preferred).
- Expertise in catalog and contract management, supporting structured procurement processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Effective business communication in English, both written and verbal; knowledge of an additional language is considered an asset.
- Self-motivated and proactive, consistently driving results and seeking continuous improvement.
