Capex & MRO Category Manager
Title: Indirect Procurement Sourcing Manager - Abastecimiento de indirectos
Location: in office, Monterrey, N.L.
A sourcing manager collaborates with key stakeholders to proactively identify value-driven activities that deliver savings, working capital and continuous quality improvement. Diagnoses the gaps in the existing process, identifies opportunities for improvement and implements the re-engineering initiatives to meet client and internal commitments on a continuous basis. Support and execute end-to-end strategic sourcing activities as directed by the Procurement leads in accordance with the Procurement policy and provide excellence throughout the process analyzing information, identifying requirements and opportunity, negotiating terms and conditions, and contracting products and/or services.
Mandatory:
- +10 Years of experience in Indirect Procurement (Opex & Capex) preferably in LATAM Market. Experienced in sourcing, planning & execution.
- MRO: Industrial Services, Spare Parts, Utilities, Equipment rental, consulting, catering, chemicals, personnel transportation.
- Bachelor's degree: International Commerce / Business, International Affair or Engineering.
- Experience with ePlatforms: Ariba, Oracle, etc.
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience with Coupa or similar.
- Proficient at excel, word and power point presentations.
- Proficient project management, communication and facilitation skills.
- Write and speak good business: Spanish (native), English - 80%
- Good knowledge of Procurement Platforms & visibility tools.
- Excellent communication and networking skills - able to effectively manage and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Nice to Have:
- e-tracking systems
- Experience of managing multiple sourcing projects at the same time will be relevant (strategic and tactical)
- Be familiar with RFI/RFP/RFQ process, has a good sense for tender document composition familiar with e-sourcing systems (e.g.: Coupa, Ariba, Xeneta, Bravo).
Tender Management:
- Data gathering
- Set-up suppliers in the tool
- Create bidding form
- Manage the bid according to Category Management Plans
- Run "what if scenarios" to help maximize the savings
- Activate Rates & Suppliers
- Adjust rates as per schedule and on demand.
- Request rates to nominated suppliers according to Category Management Plans.
- Activate Rates & Suppliers.
- Rate benchmarking.
- Executing successful supplier sourcing and negotiation to influence supply capabilities, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to proactively identify value-driven activities that deliver savings, working capital and continuous quality improvement.
- Ability of serving both internal and external clients and building sustainable relationships
- Monitors daily dashboards & identifying operation gaps.
- Diagnoses the gaps in the existing process, identifies opportunities for improvement and implements the re-engineering initiatives to meet client and internal commitments on a continuous basis.
- Support and execute end-to-end strategic sourcing activities as directed by the Procurement leads in accordance with the Procurement policy and provide excellence throughout the process analyzing information, identifying requirements and opportunity, negotiating terms and conditions, and contracting products and/or services.
- Act as a trusted business advisor and support stakeholders, aligning procurement projects with the business pipeline.
- Providing Exceptional Customer Services while delivering both brand and quantitative value to the bottom line through cost savings and cost avoidance.
- Adherence to Procurement policy and processes, including collaboration with Legal, Risk Management and other support functions.
- Provide support to enable structured management and accurate progress reporting on all projects.
- Drive an inclusive and sustainable sourcing mindset to build a better working world.
- Support the building and management of a pipeline of Procurement projects in support of category strategy/plan & in collaboration with Procurement leaders and stakeholders.
- Manage and support Request for Proposals (RFPs) including commercial contractual negotiations, while partnering with stakeholders and shared functions such, Risk Management and Vendor Assurance.
- Develop relationships with key business stakeholders and report procurement progress via regular meetings.
- Minimize contractual risks by identifying and working with relevant Procurement, other leads.
- Support the collection of knowledge of key suppliers and their position in the market, in addition to working through current market intelligence resources and partners to conduct the latest research.

- Provide accurate reporting on deals and timely submission of savings forms as required.
- Manage supplier relationships according to Procurement and Independence policies.
