Infosys BPM is seeking an Associate Business Development Manager. The Associate Business Development Maanger is responsible for all client interfaces within the assigned account scope. The ABDM works together with their manager (AVP-Client Services) to build Target Account Lists and proactive pursuit plans as well as manage reactive RFPs. The role is responsible for generating 15 Mn of signed TCV each year. Expertise in SURE industry trends and buying patterns. Understanding of the competitive market and what will make Infosys BPM stand out with buyers versus our competitors. The goal is to expand the Infosys BPM brand and footprint in the assigned account base.

Role Description

  • Business development: build and manage a sales pipeline, convert prospective conversations in the pipeline to opportunities and close these.
  • Own the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close.
  • Client delivery assurance: collaborate with all delivery and solution design stakeholders to build a solution and contract which ensures fulfillment of all commitments to the client made during the pursuit and ensures adequate risk mitigation for delivery
  • Responsible for liaising with the wider Infosys sales ecosystem, especially stakeholders managing accounts within SURE practice to evangelize BPM offering and build a sales pipeline from the existing Infosys accounts which do not have a BPM presence
  • Responsible for liaising with external stakeholders like analysts and consultants to evangelize BPM offerings and develop opportunities
  • Responsible for responding to all customer queries from clients in the SURE practice regarding BPM offerings
  • Responsible for collaboratively building solutions with various Infosys teams to grow BPM offerings
  • Responsible for liaising with Solution Design teams to ensure a timely and quality response to all RFX's in the SURE practice
  • Responsible for competitor analysis, market trends and intelligence for the deal and business units supported in the account.
  • Proactive Prospecting & Client relationship management and business development: manage client relationships, own the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close
  • Proposal Management: Collaborate with Solutions Design to design solutions, Delivery, Legal, pricing and others to finalize proposals, pricing and terms.
  • Executive presence and ability to network with analysts and prospective clients in industry and Infosys events.
  • Presentation skills to present our solutions and credentials before clients during Orals.

Qualifications:
Basic:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • 7+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience

Preferred:
• Significant business development and project management experience
• Experience in BPM or IT-enabled Services
• Track record of interacting and building relationships with CXO level client contacts
• Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Wide variety of IT, BPM or business consulting engagement experience
• Global Delivery Model experience
• Experience managing large multi-location consulting engagement teams
• Track record as an Account Manager in a rapidly growing client relationship

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Work Model:

This role is a remote role within the US, with the option to work from home or local office. This role is client facing and will require business travel to be on site at the client site, as necessary. This role will require flexibility in work hours to collaborate with offshore colleagues.
