Role: Business Analyst

Location: Sydney, Australia

Salary range: AUD 108,571- 119,893(Annual Gross)

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
  • Break down large, ambiguous problems into smaller, well-defined tasks or use cases.
  • Create process flows, user stories, functional specifications, and other artifacts.
  • Translate business needs into logical, structured, and actionable requirements.
  • Work closely with developers, testers, and UX/UI teams to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to uncover root causes.
  • Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and data analysis as needed.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test cases and validating deliverables.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong logical thinking and analytical skills - able to approach problems methodically.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to explain complex ideas simply.
  • Experience in writing clear, structured documentation (e.g., user stories, use cases, BRDs).
  • Comfortable with process mapping tools (e.g., Griffy, Visio).
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to low-code platforms (e.g., Appian, Pega, Power Platform).
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools.
  • Certifications like CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA are a plus.
