Azure Cloud Engineer

Infosys is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer with experience in administration and managing Azure Infrastructure. The role requires a close partnership and collaboration with other IT Engineers, and Subject Matter Experts.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Brentwood, TN, or Richardson, TX, or Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience
• Experienced with Troubleshooting Azure Infrastructure technical issues and implementation
• Familiarity with key networking concepts like firewalls, load balancers, and routing.
• Server/Infrastructure Understanding: Knowledge of operating systems, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Development Acumen: Awareness of application architectures, including APIs, databases, and code deployment processes.
• Time Management: Able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively during incidents.
• Collaborative Spirit: Skilled in fostering teamwork among diverse technical and business groups.
• Continuous Improvement Focus: Committed to post-incident reviews and implementing lessons learned to improve processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working Knowledge of: Azure Infrastructure provisioning; Azure CLI and Azure Storage explorer; Azure Lighthouse, Advisor and Storage accounts; Azure NSG configuration and recommendations; Azure Active Directory migration, implementation, and deployment; Availability scale sets, port forwarding and cost management within Azure; Azure Dockers, Containers, and Kubernetes service; Microsoft Cloud application security; Terraform and Ansible for cloud provisioning and automation; Azure DevOps is good to have but not required
• Tool Familiarity: Platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar tools is an added advantage.
• Excellent Communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation
• Extraordinary Planning, Project Management, Coordination, and Analytical skills
• Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources
• Exceptional Organizational Skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
• Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
