Infosys is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and lead the design, implementation, and optimization of AWS Cloud environment. Required skills:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Wichita KS or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- At least 3+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Support.
- This role may involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). The eligible candidates must be US Citizens only.
- Strong experience with AWS native services and a solid understanding of cloud architectures.
- Expertise in core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Elastic Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, and AWS Lambda.
- Ability to configure AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for secure access management.
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking principles, including VPC setup, security groups, and network ACLs (Access Control Lists).
- Proficiency in ITSM tools like ServiceNow for incident tracking and SLA management.
- Hands-on experience with AWS monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, and Datadog.
- Strong foundational skills in CI/CD methodologies, cybersecurity, and AWS cloud operations.
- Experience in: Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Ansible, Terraform.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment.
- Troubleshoot complex AWS Cloud issues related to performance, connectivity, and user experience.

- AWS SSO, Landing Zone setup, AWS Organization management. AD Group and permission sets mapping.
- Add/modify/update AD Groups and permissions set, SSO SCIM token rotation.
- Ensure compliance with AWS best practices and security standards.
- Assist in cloud architecture reviews and suggest optimizations for operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for AWS performance, security, and automation.
- AWS Backup services and DR.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
