Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's / Master's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, ABor be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
- Must possess an Electrical engineering or Power Engineering or Electrical Energy Systems Engineering background.
- Knowledge of ICCP, RTU and Electric SCADA Systems.
- Understanding of electrical network models (Transmission & Distribution), modelling and simulation.
- Knowledge of Power systems analysis and control, grid monitoring and analytics.
- Knowledge of grid integration of renewable energy sources and electric vehicles.
- Knowledge of any ADMS or EMS platform
- Understanding of Regulated support Model - NERC-CIP
- Knowledge of programming languages for system integration or scripting, such as C, C++, PowerShell, Python, VB, PERL, Linux, or similar
- Knowledge of any GIS Based software package - Any of ESRI or GE Smallworld or
- Knowledge of programming languages for system integration or scripting - ASP.NET, C#.NET, Python.
