Infosys is seeking an Application Production Support Lead
The infrastructure workstream is integral to the cohesive operation of our IT systems and networks. It involves comprehensive management, from routine maintenance to support and change management. The team prioritizes process optimization, issue resolution, security implementation, and system availability.
As an Infrastructure Project Lead 1for L2/L3 support team where you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across various aspects of application support for our client using various Monitoring tools to perform fault analysis, failure avoidance and diagnosis and resolution for any impacting issues in a distributed environment. You will be working closely with development and engineering team to provide input on new functionality and system performance, capacity management, monitoring and testing of infra upgrades and platform releases.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Morrisville, NC or Nashville, TN or willing to relocate. This position may require travel in the US.
Area of Responsibilities:
- Develop project timelines, proactively identify and address resource discrepancies, to ensure timely project completion
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, facilitating communication through regular meetings and milestone review
- Support technical teams in managing production support operations, focusing on incident resolution, deployment efficiency, and smooth change implementation
- Monitor project deliverables across all phases, to meet established quality benchmarks and stakeholder expectations
- Proactive risk management to ensure project delivery.
- An ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders through effective communication.
- Focused governance over project scope and identification of additional project opportunities.
- Focus to anticipate challenges and deliver innovative solutions
- Commitment to balance project economics with adherence to strategic priorities
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Extensive experience in Unix, PL/SQL and on Azure Application Support.
- Experience of troubleshooting issues by analyzing Application logs.
- Experience of managing and leading team.
- Experience of implementing automations resulting in effort savings.
- Knowledge of ITIL- Incident management and problem management.
- Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge and Experience of implementing DevOps, SRE solutions.
- Experience with production support
- Planning and Co-ordination skills
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. you should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
