Infosys is seeking an API Automation and Mobile Testing Lead,
As a QA Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 4 years of Information Technology experience
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of San Antonio, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
• 4 years of experience in Mobile and Web Automation Testing
• Experience with Testing strategies and Test Execution
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in API testing [using Postman tool]
• Splunk tool for any app/server logger validation
• Experience in git and Jenkins [ to understand the code builds and promotions - QE needs to promote the builds to support the testing]
• DB skills [query tool - pgAdmin]
• Experience on qTest
• Has to work with cross teams [as this is the core team and other teams who depend on this for feature building] - good communication skills to drive any meetings on the mob regression and supporting the releases
• Experience in Mobile testing is adding advantage [as we need to support the mobile - android and iOS]
• Agile testing experience
• Automation exp - BDD Cucumber, test NG Selenium Java
• Knowledge on Kubernetes [OpenShift is what the platform team works on to migrate the existing servers on vms to OpenShift]
• Support bi-weekly releases to PROD validating the business testing.
• Experience in Functional testing.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
