Aerospace Consultant
Infosys is seeking an Aerospace Consultant. In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located anywhere in the US. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
This role may involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). The eligible candidates must be US Citizens only
At least 4+ years of experience working with support of applications, Application Management, Incident Management, Enovia PLM, LINUX, HPC Systems administration, Network Protocols, Monitoring Tools, etc
Experience in Coverage of all business Support issue processes with the expected business value while maintaining the final workability and relevancy of the solution
Contribution to the achievement of the customer's business objectives by leveraging the current Engineering applications and Enovia PLM platform and industry solution experiences relevant to the industry business challenge of the customer
Experience in evaluate existing custom solutions, inhouse built tools, APIs, architectures, identify gaps, and propose action to improve solution with respect best cost optimization.
Direct involvement with our customers to resolve support issues and new changes
Direct involvement with our customers to define, collaborate, and manage the support issues and its solution
Assess Customer opportunity in regards of feasibility, value, and risks of the support issues
Assist Business Consultants to identify and capture customer business value and support issues
Support customer's business processes in regard of value creation and business transformation
Define or review global support solutions leveraging the Engineering apps and Enovia PLM know-how to support customer business objectives, highlighting committed value, and taking extra care of feasibility and delivery effort

Define best practices in context of solution architecture for re-use across multiple customer engagements
Preferred Qualifications:
Services & consulting experience in Aerospace and Defense.
Experience with Engineering and PLM solutions with emphasis on system support and system design
Deep knowledge in Industry standards & Business processes for Aerospace and Defense industry
Business process knowledge in multiple domains like program management, design/system engineering, manufacturing, quality, compliance, validation
Knowledge and experience for support of applications, Application Management, Incident Management, Enovia PLM, LINUX, HPC Systems administration, Network Protocols, Monitoring Tools, etc or any large enterprise software solutions used in the Aerospace industry
Business Process transformation engagement experience with Customers
Experience working within a software project delivery lifecycle
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Strategic and analytical mindset with high consultative and problem-solving skills
Ability to embrace and promote rapid adoption of new knowledge, practices, and processes
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA/ WA/NY/CO/MD/IL/MN/NJ: $73,000 to $102,200.
In Washington, DC: $66,500 to $100,300
