Currently we are looking for the candidate for the position of:
Accounting Specialist with German (AR/PTP/GL)
Location: Infosys Sp. z. o.o- Łódź
Requirements:
- Experience in Invoice to Pay (PTP) or AR, GL team
- English and German language at least on B2 level
- Good understanding of accounting rules
- Higher education in accounting/finance and/ or accounting courses would be an asset
- Very good communication skills, attitude for problem solving and team work skills
Responsibilities:
PTP
- Preparation and posting of PO and non-PO invoices
- GR/IR reconciliation and follow up
- Preparation of payment proposals
- Responding to vendor queries (via e-mail)

-Performing period/year end closing activities for Invoice to Pay process
- Preparation of closing reports
- Creation and update of process documentation
AR (OTC) - Contact point for complaints raised by Client Serving Teams located in Germany
- Support handling legal action and insolvency cases handled by local Accounts Receivable
- Preparing monthly reporting to support Accounts Receivable Lead
- Preparing monthly bookings files
- Preparing of special analysis requested by Accounts Receivable Lead to support better decision making
- Attending regular team meetings to discuss actual topics
- Actively supporting end-of-quarter and year-end financial close tasks for subledger Accounts Receivable
GL (Management Accountant)
- Preparation of monthly bookings and supporting finance team during month-end close with SAP
- Analyse P&L and balance sheet accounts on a general and ad hoc basis
- Participation in FY-end Close, such as support the preparation and process of inventory review for external engagements
- Participation in ongoing transformation projects within accounting finance function
