Job Description/Requirements

Salary: Expected base pay rate for this role will be between $86,000 and $105,000+ USD per year at the commencement of employment.

However, if hired, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis (pay rates may vary) and is only one part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses and other IMAX sponsored benefit programs.

About the Role

IMAX is looking for a Creative Project Manager to join the growing Creative Team. Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, you'll be the single point of creative truth across various projects and creative campaigns. We're looking for someone with great communication and a passion for problem-solving while working cross-functionally at various levels throughout the organization. You'll focus mainly on digital projects with the possibility to stretch across multiple mediums and exciting projects at IMAX. If this sounds interesting to you, keep reading to learn more!

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and manage the entire creative project lifecycle from briefing to final delivery: planning, scope changes, creative development/versioning, approvals, material delivery/distribution, and postmortem/wrap
  • Work with team members, key partners (internally and externally) to define project scope, including timeline, resources, project hours and any internal/external costs
  • Own, drive and facilitate creative project-related meetings (kick-offs, status, internal/business partner reviews, approvals etc.), and communicate action/next steps, share recaps with team members accordingly from those meetings
  • Route creative for approval to appropriate stakeholders, keeping track of multiple, and sometimes conflicting, pieces of feedback. Integrating this information seamlessly into the creative development and production workflow
  • Manage, organize, and distribute all project information and documentation, including creative briefs, strategy briefs, status reports, deliverables lists and post-project reports (if needed)
  • Build strong working relationships with business partners and serve as the liaison between internal and external partners, setting project expectations and consistently communication progress; able to identify issues early on and suggest workable solutions
  • Collaborate with Production team to ensure projects are scoped out and resourced accordingly to meet timelines for file delivery to business partners
  • Ensure all deliverables are meeting business partner expectations, including adherence to established timelines / guidelines and budgets
What You'll Need:
  • 6+ years of creative/advertising/marketing experience
  • Experience working in house or agency side within entertainment, familiar with navigating through matrixed eco-systems dealing with multiple business partners and layered approvals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Nice to Have:
  • Working knowledge of latest Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Familiar with project management tools like Basecamp and Kantata
  • A/V experience nice to have
