System Services Representative
Introduction
System Services Representatives are the primary technical interface to the clients for the coordination of hardware repair as operational services i field, as required by the client.
Your role and responsibilities
The Systems Services Representative (SSR) is primarily responsible for performance of post sale repair of IBM and other vendor hardware at customer locations.
This role will spend a majority of the time working with high volume products (like laptop, desktop, server and peripherals) related issues using problem analysis and problem solving skills for the identification and resolution of defects in the customer environment. The SSR may assist in the resolution of software and operational situations, as well as perform services activities like restoration, preventative maintenence for hardware as software or discontinuance and relocation of IBM and non-IBM systems and products.
Required education
High School Diploma/GED
Required technical and professional expertise
An interest in technology, technical repair of laptop, desktop, servers, peripherals with an operational understanding.
Experience of the above from school, privately/hobby is desirable
