Your role and responsibilities
Software Architect, IBM Corporation, Cambridge, MA (Up to 40% telecommuting permitted):
- Contribute to Apache Knowledge Is Everything (KIE) community projects.
- Collaborate in the design and development of core features of Apache KIE community projects related to Business Automation Management Open Editions.
- Contribute to upstream and internal continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Work across functional teams in the company's Automation Software.
- Resolve the company's automation software dependency and layered product integration and user experience issues.
- Lead the team with organizational skill building, provide technical and operational advice across teams.
- Design and execute innovation to improve product and team productivity.
- Lead cross-team initiatives and deliverable to successful completion and achievement of organizational Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Design, plan, implement and maintain customer - facing software libraries and Frameworks consumed through Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) exposed as functions or remote services invoked via HTTP and other protocols.
- Utilize JavaScript, Java, Drools, Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), Decision Model and Notation (DMN), Application Programming Interface (API) designing, Automated Software Testing.
