Senior Solution Consultant - Business Operations

Your role and responsibilities
A Business Operations Solution Consultant will be responsible for understanding the client's business needs and translating them into tailored solutions. Key activities for this role include:
Own the definition of services solutions for the applicable Business Operations domain and leverage the full breadth of services, labor, assets, and software products to develop complex, multi-year solutions and optimized cost cases that meet client requirements and needs considering the client's base case and IBM's profitability.
Engage with the client, sales team, and Opportunity Owner to understand the strategic priorities, business and technical requirements, issues and tactical problems, contribute to defining the value proposition, and develop and articulate robust and innovative technical solutions.
Develop an integrated solution architecture to ensure that solution components interweave with the customer's industry and transformation objectives.
Foster collaboration between the Offering Team, Delivery Team, Subject-Matter Experts, and IBM Consulting partners and lead the core solution team for the pursuit, acting as a single point of contact for complex or large opportunities.
Work in conjunction with the larger pursuit team and guide them on competitive and market analysis and build a customized, innovative solution that will maximize IBM's chances for winning the deal.
Ensure the utilization of assets and repeatable frameworks in solutions.
Complete the solution handover to Delivery and participate in Phase Gate Reviews, documenting progress.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Master's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- 10-12 years' experience in customer-facing BPO delivery/project management roles.
- Strong analytical and data management capabilities.
- Good understanding of IBM's BPO services, offerings, assets, and tools.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skill.
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Familiarity with solution development lifecycle.
- Data analysis & presentation skills (incl. Excel & PowerPoint)
- Proven track record of building relationships and managing stakeholders
- Understanding of the IBM Consulting business
- Ability to keep multiple projects moving forward in parallel
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize
- Industry knowledge relevant to BPO services
