Senior Product Management Leader, IBM Planning Analytics

Introduction

We are seeking a bold, visionary, and execution-focused Product Management Leader to drive the product strategy and roadmap for IBM Planning Analytics, our enterprise-grade budgeting, planning and performance management platform powered by TM1. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines deep product thinking, AI innovation, and a relentless focus on user experience.

You will lead the charge in transforming how organizations plan, forecast, and make data-driven decisions-bringing together intuitive design, intelligent automation, and enterprise-scale reliability, in the age of AI.

Your role and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for IBM Planning Analytics, focusing on customer outcomes and business value.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering impactful planning, forecasting, and analytics features that serve complex enterprise needs.
  • Partner closely with Design and Engineering to ensure best-in-class user experiences that are intuitive, powerful, and modern.
  • Drive product adoption, product-led growth and product lifecycle
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities to drive intelligent planning, automation, and predictive insights, working hands-on with technical and research teams to bring ideas to life.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to continuously gather feedback, validate direction, and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Own product performance metrics and adoption KPIs; use data to optimize product decisions and demonstrate measurable impact.
  • Mentor and develop a team of product managers; foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer obsession.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Obsessed with User Experience: Demonstrated passion for building intuitive, elegant, and efficient enterprise applications that delight users.
  • Hands-On and Leadership in AI: Experience defining and delivering AI-driven features; ability to bridge business problems and machine learning capabilities.
  • Track Record of Impact: Proven success building and launching impactful applications or platforms that deliver meaningful business outcomes.
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise software and financial planning, forecasting, and analytics domains.
  • Familiarity with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), or comparable platforms like Anaplan, Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, Workday Adaptive Planning, etc.
  • Experience in both cloud-native and hybrid product environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and executive audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science); MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
