We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Consultant with a strong background in testing and quality assurance to join our team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and implementation of advanced AEM solutions, while ensuring the highest quality standards through rigorous testing practices. This position is critical to supporting complex CMS migration projects and delivering top-tier AEM solutions to our clients.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

• AEM Solution Design and Implementation: Lead the design, development, and deployment of Adobe Experience Manager solutions to meet complex business and technical requirements.
• Testing and Quality Leadership: Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of AEM implementations.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level analysis and resolution of issues within AEM implementations, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
• Custom Development: Oversee the creation of custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations to address project-specific needs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, developers, and project managers, providing guidance on AEM best practices and aligning solutions with project objectives.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, providing technical expertise and guidance to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for AEM configurations, workflows, and testing processes.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in AEM development and testing processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Ongoing Support: Provide advanced support and maintenance for AEM implementations, addressing complex issues and ensuring long-term system stability.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Technical Expertise:
  
  
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementation, development, and administration.
  • Deep understanding of AEM architecture, including components, templates, workflows, and integrations.
  • Advanced proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java.
  • Expertise in integrating AEM with third-party systems using RESTful APIs.
• Testing Expertise:
  
  
  • Strong leadership in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proven experience with functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Ability to design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams on AEM implementation and testing practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Adobe certifications, such as Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager.
• Experience leading CMS migration projects or other large-scale AEM initiatives.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• 7+ years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager, including at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance practices.
