In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

The SAP Consultant Trainee will support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems under the guidance of senior consultants. The role involves learning core SAP modules, understanding business processes, and assisting in delivering solutions that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the configuration, testing, and documentation of SAP modules (such as MM, SD, FI, CO, or HCM).

Support data migration, system integration, and troubleshooting activities.

Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements.

Participate in user training, system testing, and go-live support.

Learn and apply SAP best practices, methodologies, and tools.

Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to SAP projects.

Stay updated with new SAP functionalities and industry trends.

Technical Skills

Basic Computer Knowledge: Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Interest in Technology and Business: Curious about how software helps companies manage operations like finance, sales, or logistics.

Data Handling: Able to work with data in spreadsheets and understand basic data organization.

Attention to Detail: Careful when checking information and ensuring accuracy.

Problem Solving: Able to think logically and help identify solutions when something doesn't work as expected.

Optional Advantage (Not Required):

Basic understanding of how companies run their main business processes (such as purchasing, sales, accounting, or HR).

Familiarity with any ERP systems or business software is helpful but not required.

Basic knowledge of programming or databases is a plus, but training will be provided.
